Allereerst
heb ik daarvoor gebruik gemaakt van Yahoo. Ik vond daar de speciale
categorie Arts: Humanities: History: U.S. History: 20th Century:
gegaan.
Malcolm X Page http://www.unix-ag.uni-kl.de/~moritz/malcolm.html
Freedom: Martin Luther King,jr. and Malcolm X’), ‘Our Shining Black
de Faith Temple Church Of God op 27 februari 1965, ‘Malcolm X: The Man and
His Time: Who he was. Why he went. What he stood for. Where he was going’,
Malcolm X: our shining black prince http://www.princeton.edu/~jmercado/malcolm/
Ook een mooie pagina ‘dedicated to the life, the times,
the messages, the struggles, the victories, and the memory of El Hajj
Malik El Shabazz, the man better known as Malcolm X’, gemaakt door James
Mercado. Bevat: ‘Malcolm X -- An Islamic Perspective, adapted from the
pamphlet Malcolm X: Why I Embraced Islam by Yusuf Siddiqui’, met quotes
uit ‘The Autobiography of Malcolm X as told to Alex Haley’, een Malcolm X
The Complete Version" (RealAudio) http://www.fortunecity.com/victorian/museum/11/mlx1.ram
(duur 5.06 minuten) ‘There is the house-negro and there is the field
negro…’, "The Definition of Black Power." (RealAudio) – Malcolm X. on
black power.(New York City, March 8, 1964) (duur 01.17 minuten), en
diverse .au files van speeches. Heel interessant.
Malcolm X Homepage http://stallion.jsums.edu/~awil0997/malcolm.htm
biografie.
The Malcolm X Archive http://members.aol.com/jcobain/malcolmx.htm
Angeles Times van 3 december 1992, ‘A Symbol Fills the Need of a New
Generation. Malcolm X: A complicated man and flawed hero, he stood for
candor and courage, pride and self-reliance’, wat sound-files en nog meer
links die weinig nieuws opleveren.
Malcolm X (KLRT/KASN Afro-American History Page) http://www.kasn.com/malcolmx/aahistory.html
archives’, met daarop ‘Voices of the Civil Right Era’ (http://www.webcorp.com/civilrights/malcomx.htm), met
Malcolm X-site http://www.uni-jena.de/~qab/malcolm.html (zie beneden)
en links naar ‘resources for African-Americans’.
Mindstation X: Afro-American History http://www.slip.net/~rigged/history.html
heeft
een link naar ‘ICYouSee A to Z: X is for Malcolm’ http://www.ithaca.edu/Library/Training/hotx.html, heeft
Betty Shabazz en ‘Links related to Malcolm's times and legacy’.
Malcolm X Today http://www.dischord.co.uk/malcolm.html,
een online-essay van Jay Strongman in Dischord (The site of music,
culture and unfashionable views).
MALCOLM X:EL HAJJ MALIK EL SHABAZZ:THE SHINING BLACK
PRINCE http://hugo.dsiff.pub.ro/~seb/malcolm_x/xframe.html
David Hamsher, ‘Malcolm X on the Internet’ http://bootp-169.harkness.brown.edu/webpaper/Malcolm.htm,
Echt goede of
The Official Malcolm X Site http://www.cmgww.com/historic/malcolm/malcolm.html,
mogen verwachten.
The Smoking Gun Malcolm X Files http://www.thesmokinggun.com/malcolmx/malcolmx.html
Heel interessant.
Bayard Rustin Meets Malcolm X http://www.socialdemocrats.org/sdusa/rusmalx.html
Artikel uit januari-februari 1993-nummer van Freedom Review
‘Martin Luther King, Jr. in the age of Malcolm X’
http://www-leland.stanford.edu/group/King/Secondary/mlk_mx.htm
Artikel van Clayborne Carson, professor of History and
Director of the Martin Luther King, Jr., Papers Project.
- Malcolm X Homepage
http://stallion.jsums.edu/~awil0997/malcolm.htm
In lijstje al besproken
- The Malcolm X Interview
http://www.uidaho.edu/~yusuf921/malcolm_x.html
Heeft hetzelfde interview uit Playboy.
- Malcolm X Page
http://www.unix-ag.uni-kl.de/~moritz/malcolm.html
In lijstje al besproken.
- Malcolm X: our shining black prince
http://www.princeton.edu/~jmercado/malcolm/
History Page - monthly biographies, Kwanzaa information, historical
events, and writings from Dr. King and Malcolm X. http://members.aol.com/klove01/blackhis.htm
geluidsfiles.
De interessante links van Elke Moritz:
-
Malcolm X (KLRT/KASN Afro-American History
Page) http://www.kasn.com/malcolmx/aahistory.html
In lijstje al beschreven.
-
The Malcolm X Archive http://members.aol.com/jcobain/malcolmx.htm
In lijstje al beschreven.
-
A Malcolm page in Germany, incl. bio. of
Malcolm http://www.uni-jena.de/~qab/malcolm.html
(Quotes uit ‘The Autobiography of Malcolm X
as told to Alex Haley’.)
-
Black History Information by Month, compiled by Charles
Isbell http://www.ai.mit.edu/~isbell/HFh/black/bhcal-toc.html
sites over African-American History.
-
Homepage Mississippi State University, afdeling
African American History http://www.msstate.edu/Archives/History/USA/Afro-Amer/afro.html
Afro-American History http://www.slip.net/~rigged/history.html (in lijstje
al beschreven). Dat levert wat nieuwe sites op:
- Malcolm X Institute for Black Studies
http://www.wabash.edu/orgs/mxi/home.htm
the Web site of a student organization at Wabash College in Indiana.
It includes some historical background on the life of Malcolm X, maar
- Malcolm X Today.
http://www.dischord.co.uk/malcolm.html,
een online-essay van Jay Strongman in Dischord (The site of music,
culture and unfashionable views).
Public Library. http://www.evanston.lib.il.us/library/bibliographies/malcolmx.html
-
Archief van African American mailinglist AFROAM-L
http://www.afrinet.net/~hallh/afrotalk/,
Malcolm vernoemd zijn. Wel nuttig(er):
MALCOLM X:EL HAJJ MALIK EL SHABAZZ:THE SHINING BLACK

Islam-leider Elijah Mohammad en Martin Luther King, jr.
Photo of Malcolm X
http://bootp-169.harkness.brown.edu/webpaper/m_x_1.html,
artikel van David Hamsher, ‘Malcolm X on the Internet’ http://bootp-169.harkness.brown.edu/webpaper/Malcolm.htm,
(in lijstje al beschreven). Hamsher geeft ook links naar andere
interessante sites: Edmonton Islamic Resources, AL-HAJJ MALIK EL-SHABAZZ:
MALCOM X http://syed.afternet.com/convert/malcolmx.htm en The
Verder: Daily Dose Of Malcolm X http://www.global-image.com/boynton/calendar/malcolm.html
Malcolm X in the UK http://www.gold.net/Dischord/malcuk.html (Discord) en
reeds bekende sites.
the political machines’. (Excerpts printed from a radio program broadcast
by WLIB in New York. These excerpts make up nearly half of the broadcast
and took place on July 4, 1964. Participants included Malcolm; George S.
Schuyler of The New York Courier; and Allan Morrison of Ebony and Jet
Magazines (From ‘By Any Means Necessary’) http://bootp-169.harkness.brown.edu/webpaper/speech.html
Verder vond ik nog in Alta Vista:
Archives of MALCOLM-X@MAELSTROM.STJOHNS.EDU,

weinig problemen. Er is veel geschreven over deze man. Ik heb de volgende
bronnen gebruikt: PICA, Online Contents, de bibliografie van ‘The Official
Malcolm X Site’, de Evanston Public Library in Illinois, Cornell
University Library – Africana Library, Universiteitsbibliotheek
Rijksuniversiteit Leiden, Academic Search FullTEXT Elite (op server UB) en
de Online Bookshop Amazon.Com. Ik noteer een selectie, ook de dubbele
titels.
